March 21 is the birthday of Twitter.
It is the day the co-founder of Twitter made his first post (tweet) in 2006.
The social networking service Twitter was launched in 2006. Many celebrities now have accounts, and it has become a popular place to learn about new aspects of their lives.
People active in various genres such as celebrities, artists, and professional athletes post on Twitter. If a character from an anime or game were to start a Twitter account, which character would you want to see tweeting?
That’s where Anime!Anime! conducted a reader survey titled “Which character would you like to see on Twitter?” During the survey period from March 4 to March 11, we received responses from 111 readers.
The ratio of male to female respondents was about 35% male and 65% female, with the majority being female. About 60% of the respondents were under the age of 19, and about 25% were in their 20s.
■Topping the list is Gin-san from “Gintama,” everyone wants to see what his everyday life is like.
The 1st place went to Sakata Gintoki from “Gintama”. The approval rate was about 8%.
Some readers commented that they wanted to catch a glimpse of his goofy days, saying, “He’s going to be popular by tweeting a lot of nonsense” and “I have a feeling he’s going to tweet about stuff that doesn’t matter.
Some also said, “It will probably be a pain in the ass for him so he doesn’t tweet much, but I’m sure he’ll say something good from time to time.”
In 2nd place were the sextuplets from “Osomatsu-san. The approval rate was about 6%.
Many fans of the Matsuno family’s sextuplets seem to want to enjoy their unique posts because they can enjoy their different tweets.
Among the sextuplets, Todomatsu is particularly popular. He’s the youngest of the sextuplets, and he’s sensitive to trends, so he’s likely to post interesting comments and photos.
The 3rd place went to Amemura Ramuda from “Hypnosis Mike -Division Rap Battle-“, Gojyou Satoru from “Jujutsu Kaisen”, and Sera Masumi from “Detective Conan”.
For Amemura Ramuda, “He’s going to post every day.”, for Gojyou Satoru “I’m curious to know what he does in his private time!” and for Sera Masumi “I’m interested in what kind of pictures you will give. I’m wondering what kind of photos you’ll give us. There will be sweets and stuff,” and so on.
■Here are some of the other comments!
For Asagiri Gen of “Dr. Stone” they said, “He’s a character full of light-hearted phrases and humor! He’s a former celebrity, so he seems to be good at Twitter.”

For Hinata Shouyou from “Haikyu!!”, “Hinata, the communicative ghost, gets along with everyone easily. I want him to upload a picture of himself and his friends on Twitter!”
