March 12 is “Wallet Day”.

It was established due to the play on words of “Sa (3) Ifu (12)” (Saifu means wallet in Japanese), and various events, including holding campaigns to encourage people to replace wallets, conducting surveys about the household budgets, etc., are being held.

Although you need a wallet to carry money, many rich characters appear in animations and games. They can be shown in various ways, including successors of a huge conglomerate, presidents of top companies, or famous athletes.

Here at Anime!Anime!, we conducted a reader survey entitled “Who comes to mind when you think about rich characters?” We received responses from 215 people during the survey period from February 23 to March 2.
The male-female ratio is about 25% for males and about 75% for females. About 55% of the age group were teens, and about 20% were in their 20s.
