A critical biography looking back on the life of the creator of “Fisherman Sanpei”, Yaguchi Takao-sensei, who suddenly passed away on November 20, 2020, through a 5-year interview, “Fisherman Sanpei’s Dream Yaguchi Takao Gaiden” will be released on December 9, 2020.

Yaguchi-sensei, even though he got sick and stopped writing, kept giving deep love to manga and his hometown through “Yokote City Masuda Manga Art Museum” until he passed away at the age of 81.

“Fisherman Sanpei’s Dream Yaguchi Takao Gaiden” will look back on the life of Yaguchi-sensei through 5 years of interviews with himself and many assosiates, from him encountering Tezuka manga, taking a new course of life as a manga artist after quitting his stable job at the bank, to his great success with “Fisherman Sanpei”, the Great East Japan Earthquake, and reassessment of his past work “Matagi” from almost 40 years ago.

“Fisherman Sanpei’s Dream Yaguchi Takao Gaiden” is priced at 1,600 JPY (tax excluded), and will be released on December 19.
