‘The Idolmaster SideM’ joins the collectible card game series, Weiß Schwarz. The starter deck, “The Idolmaster SideM,” will be released on February 3.
‘The Idolmaster SideM’ is the first production from The Idolmaster to focus on male idols. Based on the smartphone/computer card game with the theme of “training idols,” the series has produced a wide range of cross-media content, including concerts, comic books, and an anime series in October 2017.
Weiß Schwarz Blau is a brand derived from Weiß Schwarz, a character card game that will celebrate its 15-year anniversary in March 2023.
While inheriting the basic rules of the original game, Weiß Schwarz Blau is easier to understand and more collectible, making it a character card game that is fun to play and collect.
The lineup includes the Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love series, Chiikawa, From Argonavis, Detective Conan, as well as Little Mermaid, Tangled, and Frozen.
The new starter deck, “Idolmaster SideM” includes a ready-to-use deck that comes with 50 cards, a foil-stamped collection card, and a starter+ pack of 4 cards, one of which is a luxury special edition card.
The starter deck “Idolmaster SideM” is priced at JPY 1,650 (including tax) each, a box of 6 for JPY 9,900, and a carton of 8 boxes for JPY 79,200, all including tax. All items will be released on February 3.
