mixi, Inc. announced that it will invest up to 3 billion yen in IP content over the next five years to promote the provision of IP content that embodies “expanding rich communication and enveloping the world with happy surprises” in cooperation with partner companies. As the first step, the company will invest in the movie “INU-OH” (to be screened on May 28, 2022), collaboration with the British-style pub “HUB,” and Twitter projects.

mixi, Inc. has been involved in a variety of visual content, including the original animated movie “Promare”, the original short animation “XPICE”, and the original animation “Starlight Promises”.
Based on the knowledge and experience it has accumulated, it will invest up to 3 billion yen over the next 5 years in IP content that matches its purpose (the raison d’etre), “to expand rich communication and envelope the world with happy surprises,” and to further accelerate the creation of IP content that will be the seed of communication.

As the first investment in IP content, the company will invest in the movie “INU-OH”, conduct the “INU-OH x HUB Collaboration”, and Twitter campaign. After the “INU-OH” movie, the company will continue to invest in IP content, and at the same time, promote IP content projects that originate from MIXI.
In line with this, the corporate brand “MIXI” will be used to provide a wide range of IP content, and the official YouTube channel and official Twitter account, where XFLAG has been providing the latest information on original animation and related products, was renamed from “XFLAG ANIME” to “MIXI_ANIME”.

The “INU-OH x HUB Collaboration” will be held at HUB Sanjo Kiyamachi, HUB Shibuya Dogenzaka, HUB Seibu Shinjuku Ekimae, HUB Nagoya Sakae Nishiki-dori, and HUB Fukuoka Omei from May 28 to June 30.
The Twitter campaign to win digital movie tickets “Movie Ticket” for 5 pairs of 10 people by drawing lots was held on Twitter “MIXI_ANIME” account from May 24 to May 27.
