“Hula Fulla Dance” is directed by Mizushima Seiji, who has engaged in “Fullmetal Alchemist”, “Mobile Suit Gundam 00”, etc. Although this theme might be some sort of challenge for cheif director Mizushima, he “wanted to make this kind (job-related story) of film at some point.”
He revealed his enthusiasm toward his long-desired title, “I thought it would be fascinating enough only to depict how the protagonist and other characters, who have come from various areas with a lot of thoughts to become hula-dancers, are growing in one year. I want to make a youthful film, which director Suo Masayuki and director Yagushi Shinobu would make, as an animated film ―― my dream has come true.”
“Hula Fulla Dance” is scheduled to premiere nationwide on December 3. For the youthful entertainmant packed with the factors of music, youth story, and idols, making full use of experience of chief director Mizushima that he cultivated through “Natsuiro Kiseki”, and “Aikatsu!”, expectations are running high.
