MARUI GROUP CO., LTD. received Original Contents Genre Golden Award in “The 1st Kyoto Animonozukuri Award”, the competition where “Wonderful anime x interindustry” applicants assemble.

Needs of the collaboration goods and ads promotion by anime, manga and characters are increasing in various industries, including cars, food, trade, technology, service, and sightseeing, due to increase in anime fans and generalization of anime. This is the good opportunity for business to try and is the trigger for companies to begin new production under different perspectives.

“The 1st Kyoto Animonozukuri Award” is the contest to give awards for great collaboration goods, creative ads, promotion, and business, aimed at further energization of anime industry and other business and organizations in different industries.

MARUI GROUP received Golden Award in “Original Contents Genre”, which is given to business that used own original characters and content to promote their products, service, and advertisement, with their original short animation called “Soba e” (By You).
Under the theme “Incursion”, they collaborated with TOHO CO., LTD. (“Your Name” and “My Hero Academia”) and Orange (produced CG animation for “Land of the Lustrous”) and Ishii Toshimasa (known for “86”) directed the production and Fukuhara Haruka from “Kira Kira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode” voice the character.

“Soba e” is currently available at “Marui no Anime” official YouTube channel.
