A collaboration has been announced between the game “Touken Ranbu -Online-” and “Baragaki: Unbroken Samurai”, a movie that follows the “Shinsengumi” and the vice-commander Hijikata Toshizo. The collaboration visual featuring “Izuminokami Kanesada” and “Horikawa Kunihiro”, the Swords Army as Hijikata’s attending servants, has been unveiled.
“Baragaki: Unbroken Samurai” is based on a national best-seller work by Shiba Ryotaro. The story follows Hijikata Toshizo as the protagonist and depicts an unknown life of the Shinsengumi’s members and the turbulent period at the end of Edo.
As the collaboration between “Touken Ranbu -Online-” and “Baragaki: Unbroken Samurai”, a visual featuring two swordsmen as Hijikata’s attending servants; “Uchigatana: Izuminokami Kanesada” and “Wakizashi: Horikawa Kunihiro”.
Izuminokami Kanesada is holding a sword in a dignified manner, and “The Swords Army Horikawa Kunihiro” is standing behind with a smile while holding “Baragaki: Unbroken Samurai”, which is the novel that the film is based on, and the bible for the Shinsengumi fans.
How Hijikata, the commander of them, plays a major role in the film “Baragaki: Unbroken Samurai”… Please look forward to it.
“Baragaki: Unbroken Samurai” is released on October 15, 2021.
The collaboration visual will be exhibited at COREDO Muromachi in Shinbashi, Tokyo, and the surrounding area, with the poster of the film “Baragaki: Unbroken Samurai”, from September 1 to October 17 (Sun), 2021.
