A newly illustrated “PIICA + Clear Pass Case” featuring characters from the TV anime “My Hero Academia” is now available. Pre-orders for all six designs are currently open on Premium Bandai, the official online store of the Bandai Namco Group, under “Bancolle! – BANDAI FASHION COLLECTION –“.

“My Hero Academia” is a TV anime based on the manga by Horikoshi Kouhei, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 2014 to 2024, spanning ten years. The manga has surpassed a total of 100 million copies in circulation worldwide.

Set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses some kind of supernatural ability, known as “Quirks,” the story follows Midoriya Izuku, a high school student at U.A. High School, and his classmates as they train to become professional heroes who protect people and society from accidents, disasters, and villains who misuse their Quirks. The anime has aired up to its seventh season, with episodes available on various streaming platforms. In 2025, the long-awaited “Final Season” is set to begin.

The “My Hero Academia PIICA + Clear Pass Case” features newly illustrated designs of Midoriya Izuku, Bakugo Katsuki, Uraraka Ochako, Monoma Neito, Shinsou Hitoshi, and Toga Himiko. PIICA is a special card that glows when layered over an IC card and scanned. When used, effects such as “SMASH!” and other dynamic onomatopoeia appear, making for an exciting visual experience.

The set comes with a clear pass case with a ball chain. Simply place your IC card inside, and it functions seamlessly. It can be used with transit IC cards for automatic ticket gates, e-money IC cards at convenience stores, supermarkets, and vending machines, as well as employee ID cards for workplace access—allowing you to enjoy seeing your favorite character light up in different situations.

Each set is priced at 1,980 JPY (tax included). Pre-orders are open until February 26, 2025, at 11:00 PM JST on Premium Bandai (Bancolle! – BANDAI FASHION COLLECTION -), with shipping scheduled for April 2025. Check the product page for more details.
