From the TV anime “Laid-Back Camp SEASON 3,” the over-ear headphones ANIMA AOW03 with a selection of newly recorded voices from Kakamigahara Nadeshiko and Shima Rin, are now available. Onkyo has started accepting pre-orders.
“Laid-Back Camp” is a girls’ outdoor story serialized by Afro in the manga app COMIC FUZ. It gently depicts the daily life of high school girls who love camping, set in Yamanashi and Shizuoka, with over 10 million copies of the manga in circulation.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2018, and the second season in 2021. In the movie “Laid-Back Camp,” released in July 2022, the main characters, who have grown up, challenge themselves to build their own campsite, which became a hot topic. The third season of the TV anime started airing in April 2024, and the production of the fourth season, “Laid-Back Camp SEASON 4,” was announced at the SP Event Yurucamper’s Gathering held in November.

The ANIMA AOW03, a pair of wired/wireless compatible over-ear headphones featuring newly recorded voice guidance from Kakamigahara Nadeshiko, Shima Rin, Ogaki Chiaki, Inuyama Aoi, Saito Ena, and Toki Ayano,is the result of a collaboration between ANIMA and Onkyo.
The headphones take inspiration from “Laid-Back Camp” by placing a bonfire motif on the right aluminum plate and a tent motif on the left aluminum plate.
You can enjoy a total of 15 voice guidance words (16 words for Inuyama Aoi) for each of the newly recorded voice guidance, such as when turning the power on or off, pairing, and tap sounds. Here are some examples of voice guidance.

In addition to the initial voices, download voices are also available for purchase. The dedicated app ANIMA Studio is scheduled to sell voice guidance for each of the 6 characters when the headphones are shipped (download purchase is only available to headphone owners).
In addition, headphone pouches will also be available as made-to-order items. The Onkyo Akihabara store ONKYO DIRECT ANIME STORE -Lifestyle- (Otoani store No.2) will exhibit the headphones and pouch.
Reservations for both over-ear headphones and headphone pouches are accepted until 3:00 PM on May 9 (JST). Pre-orders will end as soon as the planned number of units is reached. Shipping is scheduled to start from mid-July to late July.
In conjunction with the release, A4 clear files, acrylic stands, can badges, and aluminum headphone stands with newly drawn chibi illustrations will also be available. They are on sale at the online store ONKYO DIRECT and the Otoani store No.2 in Akihabara. Headphone pouches will be available for regular sale when the shipment of headphones starts.
