Kageki Shoujo!! Releases First Episode Promo
“Kageki Shoujo!!” released promo video and synopsis of the TV Anime’s first episode, titled “Beneath the Cherry Tree, in a Rain of Petals”, and broadcasted on July 3 (Sat).
“Kageki Shojo!!”, written by Saiki Kumiko is originally a youth-sports musical manga serialized in Hakusensha’s “Melody” magazine .
The series depicts the journey full of struggles of the teenager girl protagonists who belong to the 100th generation of students at the all-female troupe from Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts, to achieve stardom.
The title of the first episode is “Beneath the Cherry Tree, in a Rain of Petals”.
“Kouka Opera Company” is a theater troupe from the “Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts” composed of only female members. The yearly entrance exam for the school takes place and amongst the examinees is the former idol Narata Ai, who hopes of living a life without having to deal with men. Right past the school’s gate under a cherry blossom tree, Ai meets Watanabe Sarasa, a tall girl who dreams of playing the role of Oscar-sama.
“Beneath the Cherry Tree, in a Rain of Petals”, episode 1 of “Kageki Shoujo!!” , was broadcast on July 3 (Sat), at AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, and HTB.
