It’s feeling like fall more and more. Many of you have been thinking about how to spend ‘Aki no Yonaga (the long autumn nights)’, when it’s getting dark earlier.

The long fall nights is a good opportunity to watch your favorite anime again or the anime that you missed. Here, at Anime!Anime!, we conducted a readers’ survey titled ‘Which anime do you want to watch during the long fall nights?’ The survey had been conducted from Sep. 17 to Sep. 24, and we received 80 answers. The male-to-female ratio was about 30% to 70%, which means that the female readers accounted for a large percentage. About 50% of the readers were minors, 25% were in their twenties, which means that the young readers accounted for a large percentage.

■Various titles associated with autumn have been chosen! This survey is for ‘the long autumn nights’, so a lot of readers voted for the long-running series.

The TV anime of “Natsume’s Book of Friends” was broadcast for 6 seasons, and OVA and film adaptation were also released. The comments from readers such as, ‘The fall night is a little melancholic. In such a feeling, to see Youkai makes me feel lonely even more. This is perfect for the fall.’ and ‘When I heard about fall, the opening of “Continued” and the ending of “Five” came to my mind. This work will be great when we want to be absorbed in thought.’, have arrived.

“Sword Art Online” is another popular anime series, almost 100 episodes of which have been aired. “Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld” has just reached the end, so the comments such as, ‘I want to watch Kirito, the protagonist, playing an active role again from the beginning!’, have arrived.

“Legend of the Galactic Heroes” have more than 150 episodes, and we could say that this title is a phrase synonymous with long-running series. The new series “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The New Thesis” will make you enjoy this opportunity even better.

As for “World Trigger”, a total of 70 episodes have been aired, and the comments like, ‘This is the first SF action anime that I got into. The new series was announced, so I’m really looking forward to it’ and ‘I want to watch all the episodes to get ready for the 2nd season!’, have arrived.
As for “Haikyu!!”, the new series of which will be released in the autumn of 2020, comments such as, ‘I want watch all the episodes to get ready for the 2nd cour of the 4th season “Haikyu!! To The Top”.’, have arrived. For “Mr. Osomatsu”, the 3rd season of which will be released, some reader commented, ‘It’s because this is an autumn anime as the last series started in Oct.’
