Aug. 27 is Otoko wa Tsurai yo day. (It' tough to be a man)

This is the anniversary of the release of the 1st “Otoko wa Tsurai yo” film series.

The main character, Kuruma Torajirou, a.k.a. Wandering Tora, falls in love easily. Many anime characters also have the same trait. Among them, who has left the strongest impression on Anime!Anime! readers?

To answer the question, we conducted a survey asking “Which Male Anime Character Falls in Love Too Easily?” There were 108 votes received during the voting period from Aug. 11 to Aug. 18.
The respondents were mainly female with a gender ratio of 75% female to 25% male, and the age range was on the younger side with 55% being under 19 and 30% being in their 20s.

■Agatsuma Zenitsu from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” tops the list. His comical proposal of marriage left a strong impact.
1st Place
1st place was taken by Agatsuma Zenitsu from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” with roughly 20% of the votes.

As said in the comments, “I couldn't help laughing at his marriage proposal to the random girl”, “Though he says he's devoted to Nezuko since he met her, but he still falls in love with every pretty girl he meets”, and “It's almost like he thinks every girl that talks to him have feelings for him, and that's funny”, the member of the Demon Slayer Corps is comically depicted as a character that falls in love too easily. His lovable character also gained him many votes.

2nd Place
Coming in 2nd was Sanji from “One Piece” with roughly 12% of the votes.

Sanji is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is also a character that loves women and received comments such as, “His eyes turning into hearts has become a template”, and “He's at the mercy of beautiful women, and he's always taken advantage of by Nami.” Him being a gentleman to women and having his own code of never kicking a lady even if they're his enemy are maybe the reasons why he gained popularity.

3rd Place
3rd place was a tie between Brock from “Pokémon” and Moroboshi Ataru from “Urusei Yatsura” with roughly 8% of the votes.
For Brock, “In the ending theme 'Takeshi no Paradise” (Brock's Paradise), he seems to be aware of himself falling in love easily, and the many scenes where everyone stops him from hitting on the ladies are stuck in my mind,” and for Moroboshi Ataru, “He's like the symbol of falling in love too easily, and is the most unfaithful guy in the whole universe. There's no character with Ataru's passion for hitting on every girl he sees.”

■Here are some comments for other characters!!
For Matsuno Karamatsu from “Mr. Osomatsu”, “His desperate attempts to show off his char by calling everyone 'Karamatsu Girls', is so painful to watch, haha.”

For Dazai Osamu from “Bungou Stray Dogs”, “He's more of a womanizer than falling in love himself, and I have an impression of him always hitting on women to commit double suicide with him. But strangely, I can't dislike him because he's so handsome…”

For Saeba Ryou from “City Hunter”, “He's a sucker for beautiful women, and he always on the seek of Mokkori, haha. But I can't resist his occasional awesomeness.”

There were also votes for Zorori from “Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori”, a currently broadcast series, “He does whatever he can for the woman he falls in love with, but they always hook up with someone else and he gets heartbroken just like Tora-san.”

Several characters that are flirty with women, but at times, show their chivalry made it in the list. That gap of them seems to fascinate fans.
