April is the beginning of a new semester. We believe some of you are busy getting ready for your enrollment.
Many schools have appeared in anime. They have different features such as having elite students, strong sports teams, or being very international. The question is: in which school do the anime fans want to be enrolled?
Here at Anime!Anime!, we conducted a survey asking, “In which anime school do you want to be enrolled?”. There were 222 votes during the voting period from Mar. 24 to Mar. 31.
There were many female voters with the gender ratio at 25% male to 75% female, and the age group leaned toward the younger side with 65% being under 19 and 20% in their 20s.
■U.A. High School from “My Hero Academia” takes the top!
1st place was taken by U.A. High School from “My Hero Academia”
with roughly 8% of the votes.
U.A. High is an elite school that has brought up many heroes.
“The classes and training in the Department of Heroes seem quite hard, but I believe they would help me improve my abilities and let me be myself. Also, their uniform is stylish and cool,” and, “U.A. High is a free-spirited school, and the Sports Festival and School Festival are flashy and seem really fun. It makes it even better that there are caring teachers like All Might and Aizawa-sensei,” are comments that show the various attractions of the school.
Coming in 2nd was Yumenosaki Private Academy from “Ensemble Stars!” with roughly 6% of the votes.
Yumenosaki Private Academy is a school where they train male idols. The school received comments such as, “I want to help out the brilliant idols,” “I want to go to school with them to support them,” and, “I'd love to enjoy my youth with all these idols.” Another popular feature of the school is having many departments such as the Department of Idols and the Department of Producing.
3rd place goes to Kunugigaoka Junior High School from “Assassination Classroom” with roughly 5 % of the votes.
Though being an elite school, 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School is a special class consisted of students with bad grades and manners. “I know being in class E is quite challenging, but it's worth it if I can have a teacher who takes good care of the students like Koro-sensei,” and “I'd love to take classes with the members of class E and want to be taught by Koro-sensei!” are comments from the fans who wanted to get in class E.
Here are some other comments!

For Kamome Academy from “Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun”, “I want to live a mysterious life with the Seven Mysteries and the supernatural beings.” and, “I want to gather the rumors of the Seven Mysteries with Hanako-kun.”
The Clock Tower from “Lord El-Melloi II Case Files” received, “I'd love to watch Lord El-Melloi II's classes, though there's no guarantee of life for ordinary people like me…” but unfortunately didn't make it in the top ranking.
