"Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma" Fifth Season (Plate of Luxury) will be released in Spring 2020! Teaser Visual revealed!
The fifth season of the anime “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Souma” titled “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Souma (Plate of Luxury)” will be produced and released in Apr. 2020. A teaser visual was also revealed.
“Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Souma” is a cooking manga currently serialized in “Weekly Shounen Jump” with 52 publications since 2012. The story follows middle schooler Yukihira Souma, whose family runs a Japanese diner downtown, and his training at a culinary school. The comic series has sold over 20 million copies.
An anime adaptation was released in 2015. It was followed by the second season “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Souma (The Second Plate)” in 2016, the third season's first half “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Souma (The Third Plate)” in 2017, the third season's second half “Food Wars!” Shokugeki no Souma (The Third Plate)” in 2018, and the fourth season “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Souma (The Plate of God)” from Oct. 2019. The last episode will be aired on Dec. 27.
