"Gundam Reconguista in G The Movie I: Go! Core Fighter" has released the first 3 minutes of its original movie to the public. "We would like fans to take a look at the first 3 minutes of this movie," director Yoshiyuki Tomino confidently commented, saying the first three minutes are filled with dialogue and music which differ from the TV broadcast version, having changes with particular attention to detail.
The theatrical release of "Gundam Reconguista in G: Go! Core Fighter" is director Tomino's five part movie series based on "Gundam Reconguista in G" which will include all new scenes. This series was his first Gundam series he handled in 15 years since his prior work on the TV series "∀ Gundam" (Turn A Gundam). "Gundam Reconguista in G" returns worldwide, renewed after the long five years since the first time the 26 episode series was broadcast back in 2014.
The footage released shows "various small changes, which allow the tale to be told smoothly. This is the merit of a movie version, we are able to do things we weren't able to do with the TV version," as spoken by director Tomino. The released video shows a condensed and finished portion of all the new fine details which were worked on. Regarding the opening sequence, which has not been changed from the TV opening, director Tomino explained, "the TV series can be considered (along with the movie) to be the 'episode 0' preview. While the movie version will be considered the complete version of the series, we didn't want to forget completely about the TV series either. That is why we kept the opening as is."
"Gundam Reconguista in G The Movie I: Go! Core Fighter" will be screened for a limited time of 2 weeks from November 29, 2019.
