Oct. 30 is 「First Love Day」

The same day back in 1896, is the day agreat literary writer of the Meiji period,　Shimazaki Touson, released his first love poem, and was later then established by Nakatanaso, Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture, an inn which is related to him. This poetry that begins with the line 「You had swept back your bangs for the first time」 is still loved to this day even after 100 years.

There are loads of attractive characters in anime that you could potentially fall in love with. So it's not really uncommon for people to have their first love to be anime characters. Characters that we loved when we were children are particularly memorable, and will have a special impression of them after we grow up.

That's why Anime!Anime! conducted a reader survey titled 「Which character is your first love?」. During the survey period from Oct. 18 to Oct. 25, 220 responses were received. The male-female ratio is about 30% for men and about 70% for women. The age group was about 45% for those under 19 years old and about 30% for those in their 20s, mainly young people.

In this article, we will present the results for the female character edition.

■Hinata is ranked at the top once again！ While the 2nd place below is a warzone.
1st place goes to Hyuga Hinata from 『NARUTO』.The support rate was about 5%.
「Cute, gentle and discreet, all which are ideal traits for a bride. A mature girl who become a lot more stronger whenever the one she loves is in a pinch, truly a goddess.」 and 「Her determination is amazing like how she is willing to risk her own life just to help the person she likes.」, it seems that her passion for Naruto in the series is quite popular. A character who not only cute but also strong have remained at the top for the 2nd consecutive year.

2nd place is a warzone. Izumi Kyouka from 『Bungou Stray Dogs』, Kagura from 『Gintama』, Sango from 『Inuyasha』 and Chino from 『Is the Order a Rabbit?』 all have the same amount of votes.
Izumi Kyouka, Kagura and Sango are characters that have received a number of votes from women. Especially Izumi Kyouka, with comments like 「Not only she's cute, she's brave as well！ If I were a guy, I would undoubtedly fall for her！」.

Chino is more popular on the male side. Her cuteness and hard-working trait is probably what captivate fans. New OVA 『Is the order a rabbit?? ～Sing For You～』 was just released recently as well, which gathered more votes.

Introducing the other comments!!
For Diane from 『The Seven Deadly Sins』, 「At first she felt like those cool types, but later then she does a lot more girlish things like falling head over heels for Meliodas and hating insects which makes her very cute. It's understandable why King fell for her …」.

For Vermouth from 『Detective Conan』, 「Her never-changing beauty after more than 20 years, and her high specs holding the title “the witch with a thousand faces", and her mysteriousness above all！ Can't stop falling for her over and over again. I don't mind being used by her！」。
For Uchitome (Last Order) from 『A Certain Magical Index』, 「“Misaka is Misaka is” the way she says her name twice is really alluring」.

For Myoudouin Itsuki from 『HeartCatch PreCure！』, 「She usually dresses as a man, but the gap of loving cute things is pretty attractive！ The way she rubs the cheeks and sometimes checking for bruises on the stuffed bunny she received from a female student fan is just the best」, a comment for a boyish character from the voting.
The female character edition has more votes than the male characters edition, with 15 characters in the 11th place. A variety of heroines all gathered from nostalgic anime and topical works that are currently open to the public.
