The opening theme for the spring anime “Mission: Yozakura Family” (on air from April 7, 2024) has been chosen to be Ikimonogakari’s “Unmei-chan,” with a comment from the artist also being received. Additionally, the second PV featuring the theme song has been unveiled.

The original work for “Mission: Yozakura Family” is a spy family comedy battle serialized by Gondaira Hitsuji in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” with a total of 22 volumes and over 2.5 million copies in circulation.

The story follows high school student Asano Taiyo, who lives with the historic spy family, the Yozakura family, depicting the tumultuous daily life surrounded by the unique siblings.

Following the recently announced ending theme “fam!” by CHiCO, it has been decided that Ikimonogakari’s “Unmei-chan” will be the opening theme. In the second PV, set to the OP & ED themes, Asano Taiyo, Yozakura Mutsumi, Yozakura Kyōichirō, Yozakura Futaba, Yozakura Shinzō, Yozakura Shion, Yozakura Kengo, Yozakura Nanao, Goliath, and others engage in high-energy action scenes.

“Mission: Yozakura Family” will start airing from April 7 on MBS/TBS networks across 28 stations nationwide. Additionally, it has been confirmed for the fastest streaming release will be on Prime Video and Netflix.

Starting April 7, 2024, the show will air every Sunday from 5:00 PM
On the MBS/TBS network across 28 stations nationwide!
On BS NTV, it will begin airing every Monday night at 10:30 pm starting from April 8
On AT-X, it will start airing every Tuesday night at 10:00 PM from April 9. (Repeat broadcasts: every Thursday at 10:00 am and every Monday at 4:00 pm)

Streaming Information:
Prime Video and Netflix will offer the show for unlimited streaming starting every Sunday at 5:30 pm.
