A new series, “Love Agency,” has been announced by Akasaka Aka, the renowned author of “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” and “Oshi no Ko”. Akasaka Aka will be collaborating with the illustrator and manga artist Nishizawa 5mm for this series, which is set to start its serialization on “Weekly Young Jump” from the 22nd/23rd merged issue that is scheduled to release on April 27, 2023.
The announcement for Akasaka Aka’s new series was included in the next issue preview at the back of the “Weekly Young Jump” 21st issue, which was released on April 20. Akasaka Aka, who made a name for himself in the romantic comedy genre with “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” and is currently receiving high praise for his work on “Oshi no Ko”, will start his new serialization from the 22nd/23rd merged issue. This will be his second ongoing serialization on “Weekly Young Jump”, alongside “Oshi no Ko”.
The new series “Love Agency” will be illustrated by Nishizawa 5mm, a popular illustrator in the online manga world, who is known for the manga “Watashi no Hajimete, Kimi ni Agemasu” and as the character designer of Momosuzu Nene of the virtual YouTuber group Hololive. The duo will be portraying the ultimate dating service, which will serve as a “rom-com/instruction book for love” and aid readers in their love lives. Let’s look forward to the new project by Akasaka Aka and Nishizawa 5mm.
