The event “Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki Fes” for the TV anime “Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki” was held on April 16. The teaser visual and trailer for Season 2 “Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki 2nd STAGE” were revealed at the event.
“Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki” is based on the novel published from “Gagaga Bunko”. The 1st season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2021, and the production of the 2nd season “Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki 2nd STAGE” was announced in February 2023.
The protagonist of the series, Tomozaki Fumiya, is one of Japan’s top gamers but he has no real friends. He believes that “Life is a shitty game,” then he meets the perfect heroine of the school, Hinami Aoi.
“You must face this game called life seriously!” Under Hinami’s guidance, the bottom-tier high schooler starts his playthrough of life. Is life a shitty game, or a masterpiece?
The teaser visual released at the event features the key character of Season 2, Natsubayashi Hanabi, with a determined expression. The catchphrase “I want to change. But I stand by my principles,” gives off a strong impression, and you can see Tomozaki Fumiya and Hinami Aoi in the back.
The teaser trailer gives us a peek at Season 2. It conveys Hanabi’s determination just as the teaser visual, giving us high hopes for future information about Season 2.
