The 25th film of Detective Conan, “Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween” will be released on April 15, 2022. To commemorate his, 5 historical films of the series will be available on Hulu from March 14.
The TV anime of “Detective Conan” series started broadcasting on January 8, 1996. The series has welcomed its 25th anniversary in January 2021 together with the 1000th episode on March 6. Moreover, the latest film, “Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween” will be released in spring 2022. The main characters of this film are Furuya Rei along with the “Police Academy’s member”, such as the late Matsuda Jinpei, Hagiwara Kenji, Morofushi Hiromitsu, and Date Wataru. This film will also depict the romance development between Takagi and Satou, and it was put under the spotlight when it was announced that the theme song will be handled by BUMP OF CHICKEN.
Prior to the release of the latest film, 5 historical films will be available on Hulu. The selected films are the 22nd film “Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer” (2018), the 20th film “Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare” (2016), the 14th film “Detective Conan: The Lost Ship in the Sky” (2010), the 13th film “Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser” (2009), and the 4th film “Detective Conan: Captured in Her Eyes” (2000).
Also, a special that summarize the episodes featuring the key person of the latest film, Amuro Tooru (Furuya Rei) and Takagi with Satou, will also be released. So, do take this chance to review and refresh your mind before watching the latest film.
Furthermore, the hands-on experience project exhibition that allows you to enjoy the world view of the “Detective Conan” films, from the 1st film “Detective Conan: The Time-Bombed Skyscraper” (1997) to the latest film “Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween”, will be held from April 30, at Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
