‘Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club’ Season 2 Broadcast Date & Promotional Video with 3 New Characters Revealed
TV anime ‘Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club’ announced the premier date for Season 2 will be April 2nd, 2022. A promotional video was released with the announcement.
The ‘Love Live!’ series is a multimedia school idol project created under the theme “Minna de Kanaeru Monogatari (The story of everyone’s dreams coming true)”.
Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a school idol group that debuted in 2017 following μ's and Aqours, the previous groups from the series.
The members belong to the school idol club at Nijigasaki High School, which is located in Odaiba, Tokyo. As rivals and friends, they dedicate themselves to become the No.1 school idol while pursuing their personal dreams.
The announcement was made at the concert “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 4th Live! Love the Life We Live”, which was held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on February 26th and 27th. The broadcast of Season 2 will start on April 2nd at 10 p.m. on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels.
Along with that, a promotional video that includes the new characters Shioriko Mifune (Moeka Koizumi), Mia Taylor (Shu Uchida) and Zhong Lanzhu (Akina Homoto) was released. In addition, the special program “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Season 2 Pre-Broadcast Special Program: Nijigaku TOKIMEKI Navi” will air on March 27th on TOKYO MX and BS11.
