The animator Gohzu Haruna, who has worked on “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, “Pokémon”, and the official animation for the “Tokyo Olympics” is hosting her first solo exhibition, “GOZ: Animator Gohzu Haruna Solo Exhibition” at SyncroArt Ginza branch.
Gohzu was mentored by master animator Itano Ichirou, and worked in a wide range of fields including books and corporate promotional animation production,as well as anime production for Sunrise, MAPPA, Tezuka Productions, and other anime studios.
For this solo exhibition, Gohzu, who usually draws illustrations at her studio, will set a studio in the venue during the event.
In addition to being able to watch her usual work, the exhibition gives us a chance to talk to the animator.
“GOZ: Animator Gohzu Haruna Solo Exhibition” is held at SynchroArt Ginza branch until October 31, 2021.

The theme of this exhibition is “Breathing”. Please come to see the black and white keyframes that seem as if they are breathing. I hope you can see and feel the various expressions of animation. Also, I want to take this Ginza exhibition as an opportunity to deliver NFT art to the world. As an animation, I would like to keep sending out new expressions that only digital can offer. I look forward to seeing you at the event.
