“SLAM DUNK” Animation Movie has been decided! The author Inoue Takehiko tweeted a message to the fans on Twitter

The basketball manga “SLAM DUNK” by Inoue Takehiko is set to become an animation movie. Inoue has announced it himself on Twitter.

“SLAM DUNK” is a shounen manga that was serialized on “Weekly Shounen Jump” Iss. 42 of 1990 to Iss. 27 of 1996.
With basketball as its theme and showing the growth of the athletes, the series has accumulated more than 120 million copies issued in Japan.

The author Inoue has tweeted on Twitter “SLAM DUNK” with the sentence “Movie has been decided!” on January 7, 2021. Together with that, the teaser website and the official Twitter account for the movie have been released.

Do look forward to the future news as the contents of the new animation movie still remain a mystery.
