Ono Daisuke will be the new cast member of the TV anime “Fire Force 2nd Chapter”, which is scheduled to be broadcast on Jul. 2020. He will be voicing Pan Ko Paat, the captain of Special Fire Force Company 4. Various comments have been received from the voice actor, such as “I like the atmosphere of this series. Look forward to it!”.
“Fire Force” is originally a battle-fantasy manga by Okubo Atsushi, which is currently serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine. The story is set in a world where “spontaneous human combustions” turn people into living infernos called “Infernals”. The young boy and pyrokinetic Shinra Kusakabe, who is also known as “Devil's Footprints”, fights against the “Infernals” together with the members of the Special Fire Force.
The TV anime began airing in Jul. 2019, and the new series will be the 2nd season.
