A pop-up store for the TV anime “My Hero Academia” titled “MY HERO ACADEMIA ‘T-shirts! T-shirts!!’” has been confirmed. It will open on August 2, 2024, at the BASE YARD TOKYO Harajuku store and the Abeno Q’s Mall store, with other locations to follow.
“My Hero Academia,” created by Horikoshi Kohei and serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” is a popular superhero action manga. The TV anime is currently in its seventh season, and the latest movie, “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: You’re Next,” is set for release.
The pop-up store “MY HERO ACADEMIA ‘T-shirts! T-shirts!!’” features visuals themed around “T-shirt Showdown!” with new artwork showcasing characters like the protagonist Deku (cv: Izuku Midoriya), Bakugo Katsuki, Uraraka Ochaco, and villains Shigaraki Tomura, Dabi, and Toga Himiko in various stylish T-shirt designs.
Original novelties will also be available. Starting August 2, the first limited-edition “KV Art Cards” will be given away with purchases of qualifying merchandise totaling 2,000 yen (tax included). The second limited-edition “Original Art Cards” will be available starting September 12. Each customer can receive up to 10 cards of each type, with no combined receipts accepted. Supplies are limited and will be distributed while they last.
