‘A Pop-up Store for John,’ focusing on the armadillo John from the TV anime ‘The Vampire Dies in No Time,’ will be held to sell a wide range of items featuring John, such as “John’s Curry Bowl.”
The original work of ‘The Vampire Dies in No Time’ is a comedy manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Champion” by Bonnoki Itaru. Since the first TV anime season aired in October 2021, the comical interactions between the unique characters, such as Ronald the vampire hunter, and Draluc the punk vampire became popular.
“John”, a male armadillo who is Draluc’s messenger, is loved among fans for his adorableness. The second season of the TV anime is scheduled to start on January 9, 2023.
The upcoming pop-up store featuring the popular character John will be held sequentially at four Loft stores (Umeda, Yokohama, Ginza, and Sakae) from January 14, 2023. It will be a special event that allows fans to enjoy a wide selection of merchandise featuring John’s happy face.
The lineup includes the standard “Acrylic Stand” (4 types), “John’s Round Cushion,” “John’s Embroidered Pouch,” “John’s Imabari Towel,” “John’s Curry Bowl,” and “John’s Curry Spoon,” to name just a few. There will also be “John’s Favorite Curry” that comes with a sticker, which will be perfect to enjoy with the bowl and the spoon.
In addition, a “Special Sticker” (4 types) will be distributed at random for each purchase of 2,500 yen (tax included) or more. The merchandise will also be available online on “Muzzle Online Shop” from 12:00 a.m. on January 18, 2023 (JST).
