From the TV anime “NieR:Automata Ver1.1a”, a new visual and character PV “Lily” have been revealed. Comments from Tanezaki Atsumi, who will be playing Lily, have also arrived.
“NieR:Automata Ver1.1a” is based on an action RPG “NieR:Automata” developed by Square Enix and released on February 23, 2017. All versions of the game have shipped over 7 million copies worldwide so far.
The story is set in the far future, where humans have been expelled from Earth by “machines” created by aliens, who suddenly started invading. 2B and 9S belong to a group of new androids called YoRHa, which was sent to the Earth as the final weapon to fight for humans, and encounter numerous mysterious phenomena throughout their mission.
The latest visual “Visual 006:Lily” and PV “Promotion File 006:Lily” depict Android Lily that belongs to the ground resistance forces.
Tanezaki Atsumi, who will be playing Lily, has left comments “I’m extremely nervous to join as a new cast member and work with the cast members from the game… The story and the character Lily are already difficult to deal with, which made me even forget how to breathe. I’ll try my best so that everyone, including the fans and those who have never seen this work, can enjoy it.”
The TV anime “NieR:Automata Ver1.1a” will start broadcasting from January 2023. Stay tuned for further updates.
