Anime “Gintama” final settlement event “Gintama Ato no Matsuri 2023” will be held on March 19, 2022 at Ryogoku Kokugikan. The key visual for the event was revealed. Also, advanced ticket applications have started on the main webpage.
“Gintama” is the TV anime and movie anime series based on the manga by Sorachi Hideaki, which was serialized on “Weekly Shonen Jump” and has marked total book sales of over 55 million copies. It is a mix of comedy, action and entertainment filled with human nature and bonds between friends, with its story taking place in Edo experiencing the arrival of aliens.
The anime was broadcast for 13 years after the first episode in 2006, and has marked the final episode 367 on October 2018. Gintama has 3 movies and these are the following; Gintama: the Movie in 2010, “Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter Be Forever Yorozuya” with the original story plot by the original author Sorachi Hideaki in 2013, and “Gintama: The Very Final” in 2021.
“Gintama Ato no Matsuri 2023”, the final settlement event for the TV anime “Gintama” series, will be held in 2 parts (daytime and evening) at Ryogoku Kokugikan, and the cast members including Sugita Tomokazu (Sakata Gintoki), Sakaguchi Daisuke (Shimura Shinpachi), Kugimiya Rie (Kagura), Shiba Shinpo (Kondo Isamu), Nakai Kazuya (Hijikata Toshiro), Suzumura Kenichi (Okita Sogo), Ota Tetsuji (Yamazaki Sagaru), and Takahashi Mikako (Sadaharu and Jimon Toru) will appear on the stage. A special concert by DOES will be held as well.
The key visual for the event was revealed. Gintoki, Shinpachi, Kagura, Sadaharu, Kondo, Hijikata, Okita, Takasugi, Katsura, and Elizabeth are standing in front of Ryogoku Kokugikan in the blooming cherry blossoms.
Advanced ticket applications (lottery) have started on the webpage from noon of October 14, 2022. The result for the lottery is scheduled on 1:00 PM of December 1, 2022. The S seat is 9,900 JPY, A seat is 7,700 JPY, and the box seat is 5,500 JPY. All prices are including tax.
Under the catchphrase “Ato no Matsuri has begun! Let’s go together, beyond the final”, the expectation rises toward the event information.
