Tv anime “Kingdom” returns with its 5th season airing on January, 2024. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual featuring the Great General Kan Ki from the Qin Army was also unveiled.

Written by Hara Yasuhisa, Kingdom is originally a epic historical manga based on Chinese history, serialized in Weekly Young Jump having sold more than 84 millions copies in total.
The story takes place at the Warning States period in ancient China, and it depicts the young Xin on his quest to become the greatest general under the heavens, and Ying Zheng the young king of the State Qin.
The first season aired between June 2012 and February 2013. The second season between June 2013 and March 2014, the third season between April 2021 and October 2021, and the fourth season between April 2022 and October 2022.

The 5th season of the “Kingdom” anime was recently announced to be airing on January 2024. Followed by the announce a key visual featuring Kan Ki, a key character during this season, was also unveiled. The image features Kan Ki with an intriguing grin as he says “Next, I’m going to show you how grown-ups fight” depicting his fierce resolve in anticipation of a battle that is about to unfold.

The 5th season focuses on the battle between Qin and Zhao during the Koku You Campaign. Kan Ki, Qin’s Great General, and Xin and the members of the Ri Xin Army are set to face off each other on the battlefield.
What kind of battle will unfold between Xin and the Ri Xin Army, and Kan Ki’s Army? Will they be able to triumph against the State of Zhao? Do look forward to see the outcome of this fight.
