“Zatch Bell!! and Raiku Makoto Exhibition of Original Pictures,” an exhibition to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the serialization of the manga “Zatch Bell!!” and the publication of its sequel, “Zatch Bell!! 2,” will be held in Tokyo from September 16 to October 2, 2022, and in Osaka from October 6 to October 17, 2022.
“Zatch Bell!!” is a fantasy battle manga published by Raiku Makoto and serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” from 2001 to 2008. It depicts Kiyomaro, a lonely genius boy and Gash, a demon child who aspires to be a kind king, growing up through a “battle to decide the Mamodo King.”
The story has also been adapted into an anime titled “Zatch Bell!” along with a movie and a video game. The sequel, “Zatch Bell!! 2,” is available at various e-bookstores from March 2022.
“Zatch Bell!! and Raiku Makoto Exhibition of Original Pictures” will be held to commemorate the publication of “Zatch Bell! 2.” The exhibition will feature original drawings of many of his works, including “Zatch Bell!!,” to deliver the author’s gratitude to the fans who have supported him since 20 years ago. In addition to the original drawings, it will also have exhibitions, where fans can immerse themselves into the world of his works, and the sales of commemorative merchandise.

“Zatch Bell!! and Raiku Makoto Exhibition of Original Pictures” will take place in Tokyo and Osaka. First, it will be held in Tokyo Soramachi from September 16 to October 2, 2022, then in Abeno HARUKAS Kintetsu Main Store from October 6 to October 17.
