From the TV anime “Call of the Night,” Sato Gen and Amamiya Sora, who play the main characters Yamori Kou and Nanakusa Nazuna, will appear on the radio program “Creepy Nuts’ All Night Nippon” hosted by Creepy Nuts, who sings the theme song of the anime. Their appearance is scheduled for July 25, 2022.
The TV anime “Call of the Night” is based on the popular comic series by Kotoyama, which has sold more than 2.5 million copies (including digital copies) and is serialized in Shogakukan’s “Weekly Shōnen Sunday”.
The story begins when Yamori Kou, a second-year junior high student who is away from school and suffering from insomnia, meets a beautiful vampire girl, Nanakusa Nazuna, a resident of the night, and they spend a special “night” together.
Sato Gen, who plays the main character Yamori Kou, and Amamiya Sora, who plays Nanakusa Nazuna, will appear as guests on a radio show hosted by Creepy Nuts, who wrote the opening “Fallen Heaven”, the ending “Call of the Night,” and the insert song “Lost Time” for the anime.
The title of this work, “Call of the Night (JP: Yofukashi no Uta)” was originally named after the theme song “Yofukashi no Uta” that Creepy Nuts produced for “Audrey’s All Night Nippon 10th Anniversary National Tour,” therefore a radio program is a perfect place for Kou and Nazuna to have a “Yofukashi” (staying up late).
The TV anime “Call of the Night” will air on Fuji Television’s “Noitamina” and other stations every Thursday at 24:55 starting in July 2022.
