A new series of “Pui Pui Molcar” is set to air in the fall of 2022, and a teaser visual, PV, and comment from director Misato Tomoki have been released in advance of the scheduled broadcast.

“Pui Pui Molcar” is the first TV animation series directed by Misato Tomoki, a young and talented puppet animation creator, and is a short animation that aired on TV Tokyo’s “Kinder Television” in January 2021.
Set in a world where guinea pigs have become cars, the healing car “Molcar” plays actively, which attracted children and adults alike, and became a hot topic.
They received feedback not limited to the domestic market, but were so enthusiastic that it was broadcast 32 times a week in Taiwan, and was reported in The New York Times as a remarkable video work, making “Molcar” a smash hit that has created a worldwide boom.

An all-new series will be broadcast this time. In addition, new visuals and a PV commemorating airing the new series have been unveiled. Who is the silhouette of Molcar shown with the five cars such as Potato and others?

The new series of “Pui Pui Molcar” is scheduled for terrestrial broadcast in the fall of 2022.
In addition, the first season (12 episodes) will be streamed for free on official YouTube from 12:00 am, May 31, to 9:00 pm, June 6.

I am very happy that this stop-motion animation, which I produced hoping that it would become a hot topic among guinea pig lovers at the time, has been recognized and loved by so many people.

Starting with fan art, it has been turned into merchandise, collaborations, games, and even released in theaters, all of which I had not anticipated when I started creating it, and I am amazed and grateful for the love and enthusiasm of the fans and everyone involved.
