“2022 Sanrio Character Awards,” a popularity voting project for Sanrio characters, quickly reported, Cinnamoroll, which is aiming for its first three consecutive titles, is in first place. Furthermore, a special event for Sanrio fans, “2022 SANRIO FES,” will be held simultaneously physically and virtually on June 12.

Coming in the first place was “Cinnamoroll” (1st place last year), which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and made a good start on its way to its first three consecutive titles. “Pompompurin” (2nd place last year) and “Pochacco” (3rd place last year) followed in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, making Sanrio’s three major “dog characters” dominate the top spots.
