Toei Animation Announces Resumption of Regular Broadcasts of Four Other Toei Animation Works Including “Pretty Cure,” and “One Piece,” saying “We apologize for the delay”

On April 6, 2022, Toei Animation Co., Ltd. announced the resumption of the regular broadcast schedule for “Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai,” “Delicious Party Pretty Cure,” “Digimon Ghost Game,” and “One Piece,” which had been postponed due to unauthorized access by a third party to its network.

Toei Animation Co., Ltd. confirmed that its network was illegally accessed by a third party on March 6, and announced on March 11 that a part of its internal system was suspended due to the unauthorized access.
Since then, each work has been postponed its regular broadcast and has been aired its best selections and so on.

On April 6, the schedule for resumption of regular broadcasts was announced on the official Twitter accounts of each work.
Episode 73, “Hope in the Flame” (new episode) of “Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai” will be aired on April 16; Episode 6 (new episode) of “Delicious Party Pretty Cure” will be aired on April 17; Episode 22, “Nightmare” (new episode) of “Digimon Ghost Game” will be aired on April 17; and Episode 1014 “Marco Cries! The Bonds of the Whitebeard Pirates” (new episode) will be aired on April 17. After that, it will be a regular broadcast.

The Twitter accounts of each work explained the circumstances: “Toei Animation, which is in charge of the production of the works, experienced a system failure due to unauthorized access by a third party, which made it difficult to produce a part of the works, but we are pleased to announce that the new broadcast will resume.” They also apologized to the viewers, saying, “We apologize to those viewers who have been looking forward to them for their patience.”
