A movie from the original TV anime “Backflip!!”, which was aired on Fuji TV’s “Noitamina” and other channels from April 2021, will be released in July 2022. This time, the teaser video and key visuals have been unveiled.
“Backflip!!” is about a boy named Futaba Shotaro who encounters “boys’ rhythmic gymnastics” in the last summer of his junior high school life, and is fascinated by it so much that he enters a private high school called Shoshukan. It is a collaboration of “tenacity and teenage ensemble cast” where he joins the men’s rhythmic gymnastics club and commits with his friends.
The cast includes Tsuchiya Shimba, Ishikawa Kaito, Ono Daisuke, Kondo Takashi, Shimono Hiro, Kamiya Hiroshi, and others.
This time, the key visuals of the members of Shoshukan High School (Ao High School) have been unveiled. In the video, the six members of “Ao High School Men’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Club” show their enthusiasm for the inter-high tournament.
In addition, a special movie ticket card with an A4 clear file as a purchase bonus, will be available.
“Backflip!! The Movie” will be released in July 2022. The movie ticket cards will be on sale at each theater from February 5.
