Winter anime ‘Lupin the Third Part 6’ has released the outline and preview cuts for episode 14 “The Mirage Women”. The broadcast date is Saturday, January 15th.

The first run of ‘Lupin the Third Part 6’ started in October 2021, holding “mystery” as its focus. Takahiro Okura, a mystery novel author whose many works have been adapted into films and who also has worked as a scriptwriter for anime and SFX works, served as the series composer. In addition, other big names from the novel and anime worlds such as Kanae Minato and Mamoru Oshii, joined as a scriptwriter in the omnibus episodes to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the series.
The second run, which has just started in January 2022, welcomes Shigery Murakoshi as the series composer. With colorful omnibus episodes written by the new script team, the unpredictable suspense story will develop under the theme of “women”.

The title for episode 14 is “The Mirage Women”.
The woman is named Mercedes. She is a female thief who leads the robber group “Elvira”. After making sure Mattea is safe at the hospital, Lupin now sets out to Mexico in pursuit of Mercedes.
On the way, the crew learns about Lupin’s past– about Tomoe, the woman Mercedes addressed, and the “mystery” revolving around her. To find out the truth, Lupin heads to face Mercedes.

‘Lupin the Third Part 6’ Episode 14 “The Mirage Women” will be on air on January 15th at 24:55 on Nippon TV and other channels.
