The movie “The Quintessential Quintuplets” will be released on May 20th, 2022. Along with the announcement, key visual volume 2 and a trailer with scenes from the movie have been revealed.
The anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets” is based on Negi Haruba’s manga of the same title, which was serialized in ‘Weekly Shonen Magazine’ until February 2020. The series has sold over 15 million copies. The first season of the TV anime was broadcast from January until March 2019 and the second season was from January until March 2021 on TBS and other channels.
It is a rom-com with protagonist Futaro Uesugi, a poor man who becomes a home tutor for the quintuplets who are unique, beautiful, but on the verge of failure at school. The story depicts Futaro trying his best to make them graduate from high school.
The release date of the movie “The Quintessential Quintuplets” was announced to be May 20th, 2022. The key visual volume 2, which was released with the announcement, shows the quintuplets with determined faces, quietly telling the idea of what kind of story the movie is going to be.
Also, the trailer with scenes from the movie was revealed for the first time. Do not miss this over 130 minutes long movie in the theater.
