The commemoration project to commemorate the 5th broadcast anniversary of the TV anime “Nanbaka” has started in October 2021. An original wallpaper to commemorate the 5th anniversary will be available for free with the free reading of about 150 chapters of the original manga on the manga service “comico”.

“Nanbaka” is based on the action comedy by Futamata Shou that is currently being serialized on the manga service “comico”. The story takes place at the Nanba prison rehabilitation, which is a huge formidable prison on a solitude island in the sea, and it revolves about the funny interaction between the unique prisoners and the guardsman. The TV anime that was directed by Takamatsu Shinji and produced by Satelight was broadcast from October 2016 to December 2016 for season 1, and the season 2 was broadcast online from January 2017 to March 2017. The spin-off OVA was also produced.

The original wallpaper to commemorate the 5th anniversary hasd a cute design with the usage of the source of the ending theme song and it is available in both computer size and smartphone size. Also, from 6:00 PM, October 9 to 6:00 PM, November 20, 2021, part 1 to part 2 of the original manga, which the anime adaptation is based on that is about 150 chapters, can be read for free on “comico”. So, do take this chance to read back the story.
