The outline and sneak peek of episode 1 “I Want to Talk.” (Broadcast Date: October 7, 2021) of fall anime “Komi Can’t Communicate” have been released.

“Komi Can’t Communicate” is based on the same-name manga by Oda Tomohito that is currently serialized on “Weekly Shounen Sunday”.
This is a comedy story that revolves around the “extreme unsociable” freshman high school girl that has a dream of “Making 100 friends”, Komi Shouko, “Her first friend” and classmate that is “Too plain”, Tadano-kun, and other unique characters.

The title of episode 1 is “I Want to Talk.”.
Itan Private High School is a prestigious escalator school in the prefecture, and the admission exam is only the interview. The passing grade is based on “uniqueness” and it is a school that is only filled with unique students, including oddball, weirdos, and stray people.
And the freshman Tadano-kun, who is unaware of that, planned to enjoy his peaceful high school life by reading the surrounding atmosphere.
Then, on the first day of school, Tadano-kun encountered the beauty, Komi-san, who is at the center of attraction.

Komi-san seems to be quiet, but she is actually thinking “How do I call out to others” and “What should I talk after that” and she wants to talk to others despite being unable to.
Tadano-san, who is aware of Komi-san being unsociable, becomes her first friend as he found out that Komi-san’s dream is to “Make 100 friends”…
