From the fall anime “Record of Ragnarok”, the outline and sneak peek of episode 1 “Ragnarok” (broadcast on Friday, October 1), have been revealed.

The anime “Record of Ragnarok” is based on the same-titled comic, which is currently serialized in “Monthly Comic Zenon” since 2018 and has sold over 9 million copies in circulation.
The story depicts a series of one-on-one Gods VS Humanity fights between the representatives of 13 notable humans and 13 of the most powerful gods to determine whether the human race should continue living.

Episode 1 is titled “Ragnarok”.
At the council that is held once every 1000 years to discuss whether humanity should continue living, the gods unanimously decided that humanity must be destroyed.
However, Brunhilde, the eldest of the Valkyries, a group of thirteen demigoddesses, objects to the decision. Then, Ragnarok, a competition where thirteen humans and thirteen gods face one-on-one “Gods VS Humanity” battles begin……

“Ragnarok”, episode 1 of “Record of Ragnarok” started broadcasting on TOKYO MX and other channels from October 1.
