The outline and sneak peek of episode 8 “Royal Lineage” (Broadcast Date: August 23) of the TV anime “Spirit Chronicles” have been released.

“Spirit Chronicles” is based on the light novel by Kitayama Yuri that is published by “HJ Bunko”. It is another world reincarnation fantasy about the young boy, who has both his past and current memories, facing his fate.
The orphan boy at the slums, Rio had recovered his past memories as a Japanese university student. Due to a certain accident, he was enrolled into the famous academy for the children of noble. It depicts him climbing up from the lowest of the caste system while facing the cruel fate that is filled with encounters and separations.

The title of episode 8 is “Royal Lineage”.
Rio and the others visited the Karasuki Kingdom while protecting the merchants carrying the annual tribute. After they finish the job, Rio and Sayo were enjoying their time shopping and having meals in the town when they encounter a ronin that tries to kidnap a young girl.

Rio defeated the ronin easily and rescue the young girl. Then, it was found out that the young girl, Komomo is the younger sister of the inspection official, Hayate.
After reading the Yuba’s letter, Hayate’s father, Gouki is shocked, and he paid a visit to the inn that Rio is staying at together with his wife Kayoko. They revealed that both of them once served Rio’s mother, Ayame.

The broadcast date of episode 8 “Royal Lineage” of “Spirit Chronicles” is on August 23 (Monday), on TV Tokyo and other channels. The broadcast of episode 8 was delayed by 5 minutes, and it was broadcast at 2:05 AM.
