From “Star Wars: Visions”, which will be distributed exclusively on Disney+ from September 22, 2021, the trailer for the global ver. and English dubbed ver. of 9 titles have been unveiled. The cast members have also been announced, including Nozawa Masako and Nakamura Yuuichi.
“Star Wars: Visions” is a project, in which Japanese animation studios will produce new “Star Wars” works. A total of 9 stories, depicted with a “vision” unique to the Japanese anime studios, will be delivered all over the world.
From those 9 titles, which are still hidden under a veil of mystery, trailers for the global ver. (Audio=Japanese / Subtitles=English) and the English dubbed ver. (Audio=English / Subtitles=Japanese) have been released. The trailers depict the famous line “May the Force be with you”, as well as the fierce battles of Lightsabers and arranged gadgets that will thrill you.
Along with the trailers, the cast members have also been announced.
“The Duel” produced by Kamikaze Douga features Terasoma Masaki, Watanabe Akano, and Sanpei Yuko.
“The Village Bride” produced by Kinema Citrus features Seto Asami, Han Megumi, Uchida Yuma, Kamikawa Takaya, etc.
“T0-B1” produced by Science SARU features Nozawa Masako and Isobe Tsutomu. “Akakiri” also produced by Science SARU features Miyazaki Yuu, Lynn, Cho, Takagi Wataru, etc.
“Lop & Ocho” produced by Geno Studio features Kobayashi Seiran ,etc.
“Tatooine Rhapsody” produced by Studio Colorido features Yoshino Hiroyuki, Katsu Anri, etc.
“The Twins” produced by TRIGGER features Enoki Junya, etc. “The Elder” also produced by TRIGGER features Nakamura Yuichi, etc.
“The Ninth Jedi” produced by Production IG features Akasaki Chinatsu, Miki Shinichirou, Nakai Kazuya, Otsuka Akio, Hirakawa Daisuke, etc.
Besides these star-studded cast members, Hollywood stars will play the characters for the English dubbed ver. We have high hopes for both of them.
“Star Wars: Visions” will be distributed simultaneously for Japan and the U.S. on Disney+ on September 22, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. （JST）.
