The main visuals, main trailer of the movie, and new character designs for “Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Voyage Zensho -TAKE OFF-” (to be screened on October 8, 2021) have been revealed. In addition, the first 22 minutes of the special compilation “The Age of Space Battleship Yamato: Selection of 2202 A.D.” has been released for free on YouTube.

This work is a completely new work following the “Space Battleship Yamato 2199” series and the “Space Battleship Yamato 2202: The Warriors of Love” series.
Inspired by “Space Battleship Yamato: A New Voyage”, a TV special anime that was broadcast in 1979 and received high ratings, the film will be thoroughly reconstructed in two chapters with “Yamato’s next generation crew” and “interstellar war on a galactic level” as a core.

This time, the main visuals drawn by character designer Yuki Nobuteru, the main trailer of the movie and scene cuts with new cuts, and the setting image designs of the new character Dader (CV: Amada Masuo) and his battleship Great Pleiades were also released.
In addition, the first 22 minutes of “The Age of Space Battleship Yamato: Selection of 2202 A.D.” is now available for free on YouTube.

“Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Voyage Zensho -TAKE OFF-” will be screened on October 8, 2021 and Blu-rays, DVDs, and digital cels will be released.
In addition, advance tickets with a second privilege (main visual B2 poster) will be released on August 13.
