It has been announced that the anime “Stone Ocean” will be exclusively streamed in advance on Netflix in December 2021 and will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, MBS, BS11 in January 2022.

At the same time with an announcement, the key visual and PV were released, and in addition to the previously announced Fairouz Ai, the rest of the main cast, including Tamura Mutsumi, Ise Mariya, Tanezaki Atsumi, Umehara Yuichiro, Namikawa Daisuke, and Ono Daisuke, has also been announced.

“Stone Ocean” is an anime based on the sixth part of the manga “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” series by Araki Hirohiko.
The story begins in 2011 when Jolyne Cujoh, who got involved in a car accident while driving with his lover in Florida, USA, was trapped and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

She was imprisoned in the Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida, also known as the “Aquarium.” She was in despair, but when she picked up a pendant entrusted to her by her father, Jotaro Kujo, a mysterious power awakened in her.

This new information was released at once in “Anime ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean’ New Information Lifting Event”, which was streamed from 12:00 P.M. on August 8 on the YouTube “Warner Bros. Japan Anime” channel.

In addition to the previously announced role of Ai Fairouz as Kujo Jotaro, the main cast will include Tamura Mutsumi, Ise Mariya, Tanezaki Atsumi, Umehara Yuichiro, Namikawa Daisuke, and Ono Daisuke.

Tamura will be in charge of the role of female prisoner Ermes Costello who advises Jolyne Cujoh who knows nothing about prison life, Ise as the mysterious female prisoner Foo Fighters, Tanezaki will be in charge of the role of Emporio Alnino, a mysterious boy in a baseball cap, Umehara plays the role of Weather Report, a mysterious person who stays in a secret room in a prison, Namikawa as Narciso Annasui, a mysterious person who stays in a secret room with Weather, and Ono as Jotaro Kujo, the father of Jolyne Cujoh, who comes to visit her to rescue her.
