The original short anime “‘Deji’ Meets Girl” that depicts the mysterious events that happened on a certain summer at Naha City, Okinawa, will start broadcasting in October 2021, and each episode is 90 seconds long. At the same time, the emotional 1st PV and key visual on the encounter of the young boy and girl have been revealed.

This is an original short anime that depicts the mysterious events that happened on a certain summer after the freshman high school student, Higa Maise, who is helping at her family hotel business, encountered the traveler and mysterious young man, Suzuki Ichirou (?), who came from the mainland of Japan.
After the arrivals of Suzuki, various “Deji (Dreadful)” stuffs happened around Maise, such as the fish swimming in the room or a giant Chinese Banyan tree comes crashing down on the ceiling of the hotel…

The director is the key animation animator Tazawa Ushio, who had handled Shinkai Makoto’s work, such as “The Place Promised in Our Early Days” since the earlier stage. The original characters idea and script are handled by the Okinawan Malbeni Akane, who handled the original characters idea of DAOKO’s anime MV. The animation will be handled by Liden Films, known for “Tokyo Revengers” and “Cells at Work! Code Black”.

“‘Deji’ Meets Girl” will start broadcasting in October 2021, on the “Super Animeism slot” of MBS/TBS’s nationwide 28 affiliated channels.
Also, the special teaser and film festival limited footage of this work will be screened prior to the international screening of the closing work of “25th Fantasia International Film Festival” on the last day, which is equivalent to August 25 at Japan time. This film festival will be held at Montreal, Canada.

The Okinawan and freshman high school student, Higa Maise, is spending her summer leisurely while working as a receptionist at her family hotel.

On a certain day, a tourist from Tokyo arrived at the hotel.
That mysterious tourist is a guy called Suzuki Ichirou (?).

After the arrival of Suzuki, something weird is happening in the hotel…
A swarm of fishes is swimming in the room. A giant Chinese Banyan tree comes crashing down on the ceiling of the hotel.
What’s the mysterious sudden events that happen between the two of them?
