“Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time” Asuka in a White Plug Suit Takes the Top! “AmiAmi” April 2021 Figure Pre-order Ranking”
The hobby shop “AmiAmi” announced their “2021 April AmiAmi Figure Pre-order Ranking”, a ranking of the figures pre-ordered during the period of April 1 to April 30, 2021.
1st place was “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time Asuka Langley Shikinami [Last Mission] 1/7 Complete Figure”, 2nd place was “Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Mythra 1/7 Complete Figure”, and 3rd place was “POP UP PARADE To Love-Ru Darkness Mikan Yuki Complete Figure”.
“Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time Asuka Langley Shikinami [Last Mission] 1/7 Complete Figure” at the top of the list is a 3D model of Shikinami Asuka Langley in a white plug suit from “Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time”, running her hand through her hair.
The silhouette of the figure is a masterpiece of simple yet precise design, making it realistic and impressive. The base with rubbles of steel frames is also given an elaborate design.
“Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Mythra 1/7 Complete Figure” at 2nd place is a 1/7 scale figure of the Legendary Blade Mythra, another face o Pyra, from the Nintendo Switch game “Xenoblade Chronicles 2”.
Based on an original illustration by the character designer Saitou Masatsugu, the figure captures the strength and beauty of Mythra. Also, by putting her together with “Pyra” (sold separately), you can enjoy an even more impressive scene of them crossing each other’s swords.
“POP UP PARADE To Love-Ru Darkness Mikan Yuki Complete Figure” at 3rd place is a figure of Yuuki Mikan in a school swimsuit from the cover of the “To Love-Ru Darkness” comic.
“POP UP PARADE” is a new figure line from Max Factory pursuing a figure-fan-friendly design with an affordable price and convenient size of 17 to 18 cm. Rito’s teaser sister is a good first choice.
