Oshiri-tantei flies in the sky! The third movie will be released on August 13! Visuals and special report also unveiled!
The third theatrical version of “Oshiri-tantei”, “Oshiri-tantei the Movie: The Secret of Soufle Island”, will be released nationwide on August 13, 2021. The film will be released in Japan on August 13, 2021, and features a teaser visual, a special report, and a comment from the voice actress who plays Oshiri-tantei, Sanpei Yuuko.
The original story of “Oshiri-tantei” is a hit children’s book series that has sold over 9 million copies, and is popular among boys and girls from infants to early elementary school age.
The story is about a famous detective named Oshiri-tantei, who looks like an oshiri (butt), but his deductions are excellent, and he solves mysteries.
The first theatrical version, “Oshiri-tantei: Curry Naru Jiken” was released in 2019, and the second, “Oshiri-tantei: Ladybird Iseki no Nazo” was released in 2020. The third film will be a double feature with “Survival in the Deep Sea!”.
The film takes place on the island of Soufle, where there is a town on a steep cliff and people live by flying in the wind.
The teaser visuals that have been unveiled this time show Oshiri-tantei and Brown with hang gliders (?) on their backs, as well as Kaito U riding a balloon. It will be interesting to see what kind of incidents and adventures will unfold on this island.
“Oshiri-tantei the Movie: The Secret of Soufle Island” will open in theaters nationwide on August 13.
