The cut-scenes of “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” (Release date: June 4) were released prior to the release of “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” on April 23, 2021.

“Rurouni Kenshin: The Final/ The Beginning” will be shown in 2 parts and is based on the final episode of the original work “Jinchu Arc”, which depicts the ultimate climax with Enishi, and “The Beginning” that depicts Kenshin’s past that closes in on the mystery of the cross-shaped scar and is based on the “Remembrance arc”.

“Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” depicts Himura Kenshin, who is acting as an assassin under the leader of the revolutionaries of Choshu Domain, Katsura Kogorou, during the turmoiled Bakumatsu period. This film is the origin of Kenshin, who is feared as the strongest Manslayer “Himura Battousai”.

The appearance of the fearful yet beautiful Himura Battousai (Satoh Takeru), his wife Yukishiro Tomoe (Arimura Kasumi), the leader of revolutionaries of Choshu Domain who caused the birth of “Battousai the Manslayer”, Katsura Kogorou (Takahashi Issey), as well as the leader of the third squad of the Shinsengumi, Satou Hajime (Eguchi Yousuke) can be seen in the cut-scenes.

“Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” will be released on April 23 while “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” will be released on June 4.
