From the TV anime “Burning Kabaddi”, the plot and advance scene-cuts of the second episode “Men Who Connect”, which started airing on April 9 (Fri), 2021, have been released.
“Burning Kabaddi” is based on a manga about “Kabaddi” of the same title, serialized by Musashino Hajime on the Shogakukan manga app “Manga One”.
The story begins when the main character, Yoigoshi Tatsuya, who was a famous soccer player known as “the unbeatable Yoigoshi,” but had cut ties with sports after entering high school, encounters the “running combat sport” Kabaddi.
In the second episode, Yoigoshi refuses to take part in defensive (anti) practice because of the “chain” formation where the defenders hold hands with each other.
Although he refuses to play defense because he doesn’t want to hold hands with other men, and he has no success in attacking them. However, after observing sophomores Misumi Kyohei and Date Shinji, and Iura, Yoigoshi comes up with a winning strategy and declares that he will score a hat trick with his attack.
“Burning Kabaddi” Episode 2 “Men Who Connect” began airing on April 10, 2021 at 1:23 am on TV Tokyo and other stations.
